ROSHAD GOFF GAINS EXPERIENCE RACING IN GUADELOUPE’S WATERS

Roshad Goff competed in the Karujet Championships in Guadeloupe over a period of four days. He raced in the pro class and lined up next to 146 other racers. The seas were extremely rough and with almost 150 watercrafts powering through them at one time contributed to the waves.

ROSHAD GOFF STARTS 2012 OFF WITH A WIN

Roshad Goff started the 2012 race season with a win in the East End Surf Challenge (EESC) in Grand Cayman on Hero’s Day, January 23rd. This win in the EESC race competition marks the third time Goff has won this event in four times entered. Goff competed in the pro class on a Kawasaki Ultra 300x built by Mountain Motorsports and Farthing Racing. In the same pro class, teammate Andrew Ebanks started off on a superior note taking the win ahead of Goff in moto 1 but had some unfortunate mechanical problems in the last two motos which still saw him on the podium finishing 3rd overall. TTWR racer Jordan McLaughlin ran an impressive race and was on his way to seeing the checkered flag which would have gave him a 2nd overall in the superstock class but as luck would have it, his watercraft quit 20ft. from the finish line.

CHRISTMAS IS AROUND THE CORNER

TTWR is looking forward to an annual Christmas Dinner Party with family and our sponsors.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL OF OUR SPONSORS! WE HAD AN AMAZING YEAR AND WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK OUT STRONGER IN THE 2012 SEASON!

IJSBA WORLD FINALS PRESS RELEASE FROM ROSHAD GOFF

I would personally like to thank all of my sponsors for supporting me at the 2011 IJSBA World Finals. And to the sponsors who have been with me from the start and throughout this entire year it is greatly appreciated!

I had a near perfect race season winning the Cayman Islands National Tour in the Expert Runabout Open class. I became the Jet Around Cayman 360 race Champion and also won the Expert R/A Open class at round 7 of the UWP-IJSBA U.S. National Tour in South Carolina. At the 2011 IJSBA World Finals I took 2nd in moto 1 and was in 3rd during moto 2 looking to claim a World Championship until the racer behind me crashed into the rear of my ski. Ended up 4th in that moto taking a 6th overall in the Expert R/A open class. Not everything goes as you would like. It was unfortunate but I enjoyed my time there. I also want to deeply thank A&G. Smith (Antonio & Glennis) for everything they have done and continue to do. Thanks again to God, all of my great sponsors, my girlfriend Arie; which is my huge support system, my family, friends and entire team. I had an amazing year and now looking forward to 2012 keeping my champion titles while earning more.

IJSBA WORLD FINALS LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AWAY

One of the most anticipated watercraft race events in the world will be kicking off in less than three weeks in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The weeklong event will see racers from over 32 nations competing for world titles in many different classes. Our own Roshad Goff will be one of those racers looking to take home some great memories. Jordan McLaughlin will also be in attendance watching this year to gain experience to take on the course next year. Manager Antonio Smith is finishing the final preparations before heading out to Havasu.

TTWR CLAIMS 2 TITLES OUT OF 4 IN THE 2011 CIWA NATIONAL TOUR

CONGRATS TO OUR 2011 CIWA BEGINNER R/A NATIONAL TOUR CHAMPION JORDAN MCLAUGHLIN AND OUR EXPERT R/A NATIONAL CHAMPION ROSHAD GOFF.

CONGRATS TO ALL OF OUR OTHER RACERS, ANDREW EBANKS (3RD AMATEUR CLASS),LUKE WELDS (4TH BEGINNER CLASS) AND KYLE BROOKS (3RD BEGINNER CLASS).

Jordan McLaughlin takes the win in the CIWA/IJSBA National Tour in the Beginner Runabout Class. McLaughlin, who first started racing last year, was unbeatable in his class this season up until the last round. He ran into some technical problems but knew that he was way ahead in points so he smartly went around the course to still gain points.

Luke Welds and Kyle Brooks, who are both in their inaugural race season, competed in the Beginners Class as well. Welds was having a remarkable first season. He placed second overall in round 1 but unfortunately he ran into watercraft problems in the last two rounds, which caused him to just miss out on a podium finish. Brooks, had quite a consistent season, earning two third places in rounds 1 and 3, and finishing out strong with taking second in the final round, giving him the bronze position on the podium.

In the highly competitive Amateur Runabout Class, Andrew Ebanks, would finish out the season taking the overall win in the final round. This is Ebanks’ second year as a closed course racer. He participated in endurance races before this. He would get the third place spot on the podium at the awards banquet.

Roshad Goff wins the National Championship in the premier Expert Runabout Open class of the CIWA/IJSBA National Tour. It was a near perfect season for Goff, as he won three out of the four race events held this year.

Be on the look out for some of these riders at the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, October 1-9.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (July 25, 2011) - Andrew Ebanks came out in the Amateur Runabout Class in rounds 3 & 4 of the CIWA National Tour with a point to prove. He went 2-2-1 in round 4 on his Kawasaki giving him the overall victory. Ebanks and the two McLean cousins battled it out every moto putting on an exciting race the crowd. Sponsored by Southcoast Bar & Grill, Tony’s Toys Car Boutique, Castrol, Davenport Development, Sign Solutions, and Construction Development Associates, Ebanks came into the day feeling good about his watercraft and he proved that he is a top contender in his class.

ROSHAD GOFF WINS JET AROUND CAYMAN 2011

Jet Around Cayman is an endurance pwc race that takes place in Grand Cayman once a year. Jetski racers race around the island (68 miles) in the surf. In 2006, Roshad Goff took home the second place check & trophy for the Rookie Class. In 2007, he finished third in the Open Class. For the years 2008, 2009, and 2010, he was out front of the pack to the first checkpoint until having mechanical problems. This year, 2011, he rode flawless as usual, and his Mountain Motorsports/Farthing Racing built Kawasaki Ultra 300x powered through the seas. He was in the lead at the first checkpoint and was able to maintain first place straight through the finish line while extending his lead at each checkpoint. He took home the first place award in the Pro and Expert Classes. Goff wants to thank God, all of his sponsors, Dustin and Phil Farthing, Ryan Hardwick, Guy Greenland, Antonio and Glennis Smith, his mom, his girlfriend Arie, and his team Tony’s Toys Watercraft Racing.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (April 4, 2011)  – The young Tony’s Toys Watercraft Racing star, 16 year-old Jordan McLaughlin, started the CIWA IJSBA National race season with three back-to-back wins in the Beginner Runabout Class at South Sound Beach, Grand Cayman. McLaughlin races a Kawasaki Jet Ski® Ultra™ 260X and is sponsored by Tony’s Toys Car Boutique, Castrol, Davenport Development, Sign Solutions, Construction Development Associates, and his parents Rex & Gwen McLaughlin. Also in the Beginner class from the TTWR team, Luke Welds took a second overall, and Kyle Brooks took third. Both are in their inaugural CIWA series and race a Kawasaki Jet Ski® Ultra™ 260X. They are rookies to look out for in the near races.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (April 4, 2011)  – Tony’s Toys Watercraft Racing, Roshad Goff, kicked off the CIWA IJSBA National race season with a win at South Sound Beach, Grand Cayman. Goff is sponsored by Tony’s Toys Car Boutique, Castrol, Davenport Development, Sign Solutions, Construction Development Associates, A & G. Smith, Mountain Motorsports & Farthing Racing. The weather was perfect and Goff powered around the course on his Kawasaki Jet Ski® Ultra™ 260X with skillful precision. He went 1-1-2 for the day, winning two out of three motos to take the overall victory in the Expert Runabout Open class. In one moto, he lapped the up to third place before taking the checkers, proving his continued dominance of the Watercraft series. In the last moto he used a backup ski because of an intercooler leak. “Although we had a minor technical difficulty in the last moto, it was a great start to the season.”

TTWR TEAM, FAMILY & SPONSORS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS 2010

TTWR along with each member’s family and our sponsors enjoyed a spectacular Christmas Dinner Party. Special thanks to everyone who prepared something and to Arie, Glennis & Nicole for all the planning and preparations.

“It was a really great night, everything went well. We all enjoyed ourselves and I’m looking forward to 2011 with this team.” - Antonio Smith

2010 JET AROUND CAYMAN 360°

TTWR definitely came out on top in the JAC 360° race. George “Lulu” Smith was the first local rider to cross through the finish buoys. However, he was penalized for exceeding the speed limit at a checkpoint. He would still take the win in the Veteran’s Class and third in the Open Class, which is regarded as the biggest and most competitive class. This would have been his fourth time winning this race. His teammate Andres Webb would take second in the Open Class. Webb had taken home third the previous year and second in the Rookie Class in 2009. Smith’s and Webb’s teammate, Andrew   Ebanks, would take the top spot on the podium with double winnings in the Open and Amateur Classes. This is Ebank’s second time participating in JAC 360°. TTWR won a total of 5 awards in this race.
